If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Sometimes adversity can turn into amazing opportunities, something ending unexpectedly can actually turn into a lifeboat and force you to go into something new which turn out to be the best thing ever.

What problem does your business solve?

Proactive – we supports businesses to build privacy and cyber frameworks, policies, procedures and training
Reactive – we support businesses who have suffer a cyber attacks, data breach, legal claims and representations with regulators.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

We had a consultancy doing something similar and during lockdown decided to go for authorisation to become a law firm, no mean feat I can tell you! after 12 months we got the authorisation and now we are a firm.

What is your magic sauce?

We are spcialists in the field of data protection, PECR and cyber and therefore can support clients like no others can.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Expand and grow, we are already trying to recruit. We are expanding into other niche areas of law (Import/export, sanctions and compliance)

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

As a niche, small firm there have been times we have had clients who prefer a bigger name but that has not held us back as we have some big clients on our books and to get around the good will we white label!

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We would love to hear form anyone who needs specialists support contact me or visit our website www.cyberdatalaw.co.uk.
